Surveillance systems - usually featuring the means of capturing the video stream (security cameras)  and  real-time monitoring or recording the video for subsequent analysis.

Wireless Surveillance Systems - feature wireless transmission of video signals from security cameras to the receiving/monitoring device(s). Not having to run shielded cables from the security cameras to the receiving/monitoring devices enhances the flexibility of camera placement.

CCTV Security Cameras - CCD and CMOS image sensor cameras in a wide variety of configurations.  B&W and color security cameras, night vision and weatherproof security cameras, special application and hidden security cameras.

Digital Video Recorders(DVRs) - devices for recording the video stream from the security cameras.  Most DVRs for surveillance systems feature multiple-channel recording capability.

Quad Processors/Splitters - enable viewing video from multiple security cameras on a single monitor screen.
